I really don't know and never thought it can be directly translated but I suddenly thought of some words that I never used, when I was driving on my long commute this morning:
" A( `! k- n2 e- A2 Z' @! Cwhat about clichéd ...
6 s; Q4 ]& ~2 U1 {7 d" j6 e
' A& x1 i( ^; V4 s& ?8 q" @% o4 r5 X; v
cliché really means overused, predictable, 陈词滥调, 了无新意. for example, in chinese shows, to imply that a woman is pregnant , she will always suddenly rush into the washroom and start to vomit, that's a cliche scene. so cliche!4 `5 S4 T3 t' h
but not rouma at all. r. n S6 c. O; Z. w
so far I think "cheesy" is really THE word, as per the slang dic. |
