JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager-
8 _) K8 k+ a. JSU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical : l p* L6 R3 x! J! R
Support, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects
$ L7 F |/ e( }8 t& c7 Gof Course Pack production.$ Y0 y9 C) @; V4 N: h
4 J" I/ z/ u# XDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
9 N2 ]2 V r) h1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning / j1 G% M& W7 c" t! m
of paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.9 G4 Y2 M3 F! Y* c
* Z0 h' }, e, a2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including 5 t6 l8 y g3 n( |
print queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.

! l+ U( D/ O" A& p7 n3 J- v. w3 \3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of
# t0 v; x0 B' a. P- B# ocourse packs. This includes following operational procedures and

' Y3 R2 }* f# s$ {4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment 1 @) s7 T) A8 X3 y
failures to the Operations Manager.

5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements, ; x% o: b$ N) m0 h, D7 }0 V( D
and adhere to regulations as appropriate.

u+ J4 d" j: a6) To contribute positively to a cooperative working environment.3 V% K7 H# ]( m

QUALIFICATIONS:$ n* B' W" i8 `) g5 e
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
* n3 C+ N. p9 l$ V. c2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication
) ]) t# G! T6 ~skills.: n9 _+ G' U4 x* R
' N1 h8 e+ `3 d
3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.) F7 l! p8 z0 l& P* F2 p- a4 K
3 q6 `/ s* n; c4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.
) W$ j5 k i3 \9 M% d3 [
/ Z( m# l/ {' x7 n5) Ability to work in high stress environment. D3 U% C! S: P* E

6) Experience in print industry an asset but not necessary.8 F* a: H' r% ^0 s, {* D
