; @6 f) I& h0 c3 p$ G* U8 [EDMONTON - A woman was killed Monday when the truck she was driving turned over and crushed her beneath its roof.

The woman was driving a gravel truck two kilometres north of Westlock when it veered off the road. The truck rolled across Highway 44, trapping and crushing the woman in the cab.+ y. A- U4 t" l2 q0 W% M
+ ] e* z% Q X% B3 \+ g
Audrey Wiedrick, 57, from Westlock, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to RCMP. She was not wearing a seat belt.
' H! I# G0 ^7 d/ E, F- mWiedrick worked for Alberta Highway Services and was hauling a water tank and asphalt packer when the accident occurred, said Jason Maloney, spokesman for the Alberta occupational health and safety office.

- }) C+ w7 k- v$ U2 }/ G$ uIt is not known what caused the woman to drive the truck off the road. Occupational health and safety and the RCMP are investigating.

"The truck is considered a workplace, that was the driver's workplace," Maloney said, explaining why they are investigating.8 J! |4 f# D4 w- {8 x1 v S! C
