Apply to Extend my mom's visitor stay

. l% J' T4 [, Y- i4 p! bMy mom's visitor status in Canada is expiring. We are planning to apply for her extension. I did read the application package but have two questions:

) k; S0 u3 I9 c% m/ J: X% _& n1. The reasons for an extension. Can we use the reason: we want her help to take care of our new born baby? There are people say it is a bad reason. Is it true?
