Ph.D. or Master's fellowships are available for suitable applicants who are
enthusiastic about research on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) systems
, t( i2 |& w  d* Qand circuits at Memorial University of Newfoundland, NL, Canada.
5 \% ?3 z& u7 ]5 }# A* APotential projects are in areas of VLSI computer-aided design and analog/digital
# L' ~, V' f. K8 A2 Uintegrated system/circuit design.

0 h( l: ]- L3 o1 GThe qualified applicants will meet the following conditions:
(a) Master’s or B.S. degree, background in microelectronics, computer engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or related areas.
(b) GPA 3.2/4.0 (80% if percentage grades used) or better.
0 _+ ~% S# M% x7 o(c) TOEFL: paper-based score of 550 (or higher)/computer-based score of 213 (or higher).
(d) A keen interest in algorithm design or circuit/system design.
(e) A good team work player.
