! f0 _2 y4 A8 y$ R# d; s, Z+ yPh.D. or Master's fellowships are available for suitable applicants who are
4 T. A! k8 E2 [. ~* B1 O  ^5 ^; l- ~# Fenthusiastic about research on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) systems
and circuits at Memorial University of Newfoundland, NL, Canada.
Potential projects are in areas of VLSI computer-aided design and analog/digital
integrated system/circuit design.

The qualified applicants will meet the following conditions:
" v! m3 d1 `2 J, n2 m, x(a) Master’s or B.S. degree, background in microelectronics, computer engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or related areas.
6 \( J0 C: p: I; Y; j(b) GPA 3.2/4.0 (80% if percentage grades used) or better.
(c) TOEFL: paper-based score of 550 (or higher)/computer-based score of 213 (or higher).
(d) A keen interest in algorithm design or circuit/system design.
(e) A good team work player.

fully waived and a competitive stipend will be offered. Please send a complete
