JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
. O& G3 m; m& y9 w
/ V' A% A0 Z" [1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.

2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

' V6 D. t& }3 h- H; y7 X  m) y3 }3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.
; v6 V' J. u4 S# }- J6 X. }
# y8 m9 H6 P* Z4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

, s* R/ L7 O8 XQUALIFICATIONS:
( R* n" u4 \- F3 I
, r- A5 }  {+ D9 M* e* ?6 \1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.

2) Cashier experience.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
% H4 J9 P  y  d, h: m: q* J0 g6 W
% f3 B/ N7 q# A* U5 a7 v; \% ]4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
