JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

6 ^! z8 d# \% @: e* j3 r DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
2 u* G: _) W# k& w6 W  R( Y% e, c% k
9 N( m( D9 \8 ]' E+ b1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.

; N* b9 u6 [. V: p4 Z- c% S2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

1 F; D( I* D8 k. f  }1 R2 c6 T3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

* o& L( }) k1 N3 h0 L' u# ?7 ?& _" A% Y  `5) Serve as cashier when required.

6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS:
7 }! }5 F' v/ S) n( U' I
' |* [) d& D" n. J  j1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.

$ B7 `% P8 Z1 t2) Cashier experience.
" M- M& ^: [8 ^% U3 }* |" q1 ~
3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
