JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
; x; Y& Q7 K) R: K1 d% u- z' ?
1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.

8 w+ p6 X) h: _' j# c9 R! X2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

9 d) }, h* g6 D3 c4 A3 l1 z4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

; C9 A0 N( b9 s$ L9 f+ ^5) Serve as cashier when required.

6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.

2) Cashier experience.

7 M5 l8 ]6 i3 a) W1 N( {- [3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

# n: y5 X* ]9 R& T9 v/ c4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
