JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

" p( z$ B. N( I! C# q DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
! F$ K. X: Z$ O, ?
1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.

/ W+ p' ?5 V: X9 A  w1 }7 z0 k" P3 N1 B2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

% }+ n1 {+ A9 ~0 \. x: p6 e8 a4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

( ~% G! f( m, \5) Serve as cashier when required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
6 e: h0 t& V" \$ b' V8 b  h0 |
1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.

, x% U7 G6 N4 W( C! u2 N2) Cashier experience.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

( U7 A& X) m3 q- {3 Z& h0 F5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
