of Alberta will be holding a Spring Festival Evening Party around the% O' r2 E- }7 M
eve of Chinese lunar New Year to add the diverse community Chinese
4 B& `8 Q1 w' n% x2 t6 @8 | cultural activities. This event is not only a reminder of food, fun and
# ]! O- {0 p( e' y! U, x }5 | customs, but also a very good opportunity to wipe out our homesickness on! u# ~& X- N( x: q

6 u ~: U9 c1 r# v; e% V4 x. HWe encourage students and scholars who are interested in performance to2 K! `7 G; c! K' G' V4 }4 [
contribute to the evening party by showcasing your abilities and
6 c2 b0 |$ ~7 ^. o( i$ T! w. Y talents. Although we have no luxurious dressings and professional skills in& ]$ [- K, H$ u. b7 K6 r8 v
performing arts, the most critical point we have is our passion to show! j2 N7 K5 W* H) M L& ?: v8 ~
ourselves such as any topic related to our life and studies in
9 {& n7 C+ L I# e' j( M Edmonton. Please come and join us to fill up the party. It’s going to be a
8 q6 }& M( l" h. c7 }# i9 o9 @ lot of fun, like what we did before.

As far as your prospective programs are concerned, they can be songs
1 l3 u3 B" r! w A y" ] sung by a single singer or multiple singers, song and dance (Ge Wu),
# ~4 a, `4 q; g _! \$ f9 ~ stand-up comedy (Xiang Sheng), skits (Xiao Pin), drama (Hua Ju) or any
/ g6 n% D" ?% { performance with instruments (e.g., piano). It would be great if your
/ ^+ i, w1 R ` program could reflect our society. If you have a play for skits, stand-up
0 Q: h9 ]7 Q: ?. \; S9 h comedy or drama to present, please contact CSSA for performance since
4 V( r: Z# e7 \ CSSA executives want to have a show collectively.' Q2 B* l( @, _2 h
0 @) T8 Z% j: X7 kMeanwhile, a host is needed for the evening party. Volunteers are also( Q! ^) c" C# S2 B2 c6 Y% U# T
on demand to work on the stage to assist lighting and audio system
9 _1 g8 X' c+ N' c; N' t" }" @ control.
