of Alberta will be holding a Spring Festival Evening Party around the( f; _; @9 q5 L- C
eve of Chinese lunar New Year to add the diverse community Chinese
8 U3 X8 d2 ?# {$ \ cultural activities. This event is not only a reminder of food, fun and
# o. z# g( V7 U2 p9 S! z* n customs, but also a very good opportunity to wipe out our homesickness on' U5 A" x) f8 q' Y
this broad land.
. @- _( o( M4 O7 E- N
* f G4 Y( p1 F2 Z- iWe encourage students and scholars who are interested in performance to* ^, m+ z7 p: x2 q! Z
contribute to the evening party by showcasing your abilities and9 R% Z# t4 j6 s& W$ ]
talents. Although we have no luxurious dressings and professional skills in
/ x$ O9 q/ W1 B5 |( G& M5 | performing arts, the most critical point we have is our passion to show4 ^5 k' w' b5 r( B
ourselves such as any topic related to our life and studies in- E6 a7 x* c( h8 E/ j3 o
Edmonton. Please come and join us to fill up the party. It’s going to be a
V9 w+ x, p7 x) G lot of fun, like what we did before.

7 N& Y9 T' [% Q4 O7 IAs far as your prospective programs are concerned, they can be songs
9 k t3 R- R& q. m( Y `1 {+ G+ T sung by a single singer or multiple singers, song and dance (Ge Wu),
4 w2 S* D- R0 y0 A: q$ _ stand-up comedy (Xiang Sheng), skits (Xiao Pin), drama (Hua Ju) or any
2 P& Z0 p: }& X7 u3 I3 ^ performance with instruments (e.g., piano). It would be great if your8 C; o' H, I2 v% P
program could reflect our society. If you have a play for skits, stand-up
% A$ ~* Z' D. w: I. { comedy or drama to present, please contact CSSA for performance since
" l- H$ k6 a5 B) w CSSA executives want to have a show collectively., |1 |. U, I' n: h' _# `3 m

Meanwhile, a host is needed for the evening party. Volunteers are also$ P/ N2 ~- i- K J( T
on demand to work on the stage to assist lighting and audio system2 V# S" ?# F; Z8 O
control.
