Community Services requires individuals to provide quality customer service to the public at community leisure centres across the City. As a Recreation Facility Attendant you will:0 K& v* p/ `) d& l9 P

Collect fee and admission charges.

Complete daily cash deposits.+ y* N8 `4 m& l+ n2 S1 q

Handle customer inquires by phone and in person.' J& d5 [0 L1 s% f4 L$ ^

Register patrons in programs.

Control admission to various areas of the facility.

Perform basic administrative duties including word processing, data entry and generating inventory reports./ v2 n2 K& q, M& W

Perform related duties as required

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Completion of the twelfth (12th) school grade with emphasis on general office practice or completion of an appropriate certificate program from an approved school/college.

Some experience in customer service, cash handling, and computer applications.

Possession of current Standard First Aid and CPR certification is required prior to commencement of employment.+ c9 N5 f# `; U' s: I3 x& b5 \

Assets: Customer service training and familiarity with a variety of computer software programs, including point of sale, registration software and other facility related computerized equipment. In addition, knowledge and experience in the fitness industry.
% g# B9 _& Q) }4 a0 U' fNote: A security clearance is a condition of employment. The successful candidate will be required to obtain a Security Clearance letter from the Edmonton Police Department. , ]0 ^7 Z8 d8 `$ K0 D4 ^

Up to 30 hours per week, Sunday to Saturday. Early morning, evening and weekends may be required.
) Y. J! ~! M# jShifts vary based on facility operating hours,
5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

21B, Salary Grade: 003, $14.55 - $17.97 (Hourly). The rates quoted are in accordance with a collective agreement between the Union and the City of Edmonton.$ ?& ]7 _4 H5 V6 w
