烤蛋糕

• 1/2 cup butter

# x9 P3 T* a5 Q" r' q• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (if you like the flavor, otherwise, none)

• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 4 h# Y0 P* m' c$ S. j7 m
• 4 eggs, well beaten& d" H- l( J* s9 s

Beat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition. 3 e4 D" i( ~0 U, j6 o+ W
Turn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. . E5 a. ?0 k: H) W% l1 }: K# Q
Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.

这是yellow cake,我最喜欢的,又简单。ingredients 我一般比较严格执行,否则变味,但是我通常要把糖的用量减至3/4到2/3,洋人用糖量太大,太甜了。但如果你认为cake mix的甜度适合你的口味,就用上述的量。

检查是否烤熟的办法: 用牙签插一下cake中间,若没有什么粘在牙签上就熟了。 |
