烤蛋糕
INGREDIENTS:

! X: S& A4 U& A0 ]9 o9 E( R4 E• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (if you like the flavor, otherwise, none)
( K" T) V5 C7 |% `1 ]• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour or all purpose flour (former is better)

• 4 eggs, well beaten

PREPARATION:6 F2 T5 f- y; R! `, G
Beat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition. + H9 R& s: c5 }4 R
Turn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. % x& a W6 M3 B% @# w, g. g. F, ~* Q
Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.

beating,要用mixer, 一般的$10左右的hand mixer 就可以。烤蛋糕,面包,或做土豆泥等都用得上。# x8 e8 B& n3 Z, m/ w2 ?

检查是否烤熟的办法: 用牙签插一下cake中间,若没有什么粘在牙签上就熟了。 |
