ATGCell Inc., a spin-off biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) of the
University of Alberta, is focusing on the production and service of
, W% c, U$ i9 j2 Lrecombinant proteins and stable cell lines. To further develop our
technology, we are currently seeking a highly-motivated researcher with
3 B0 X8 |6 r9 `1 |! dstrong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness
3 R  l) E- Y/ Lto apply for government funding with us.

) [0 E4 t% Q) }. ^$ y+ b$ _5 yQualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
obtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
8 N7 r7 Y  A  A6 U8 rrelated field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
from bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
required. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
cloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
8 g: x8 m! J7 U$ f  y4 eover-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
is a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
the ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping
accurate and complete research records.

funding, such as the Alberta Ingenuity Fund R&D Associate. Anticipated
+ m2 f! v6 ~9 ~" i/ Usalary for the successful candidate will be 55-60K/yr depending on
