) Y$ `" Z( [5 {" Stechnology, we are currently seeking a highly-motivated researcher with
strong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness
) c) P0 s4 b/ w. E/ D3 @$ nto apply for government funding with us.

& Y  j1 d1 j/ t) f/ VQualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
( E4 Y2 A3 o5 pobtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
* _% Z2 k- A, P7 a6 Irelated field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
from bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
required. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
9 a/ q8 \0 n; O8 Q, \+ f* A: Kcloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
over-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
# h% T5 d) q0 @! Ais a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
the ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping
accurate and complete research records.

% O# l4 t  Q6 R3 @3 VThis position is conditional to a successful application of external
, O, T2 A% j" Q6 H# wfunding, such as the Alberta Ingenuity Fund R&D Associate. Anticipated
# o; Z5 H  ^0 `# N' Ysalary for the successful candidate will be 55-60K/yr depending on
