Position Overview: Under minimal supervision, work as a technologist in a startup biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) in Edmonton. Responsible for the execution of experiments in a laboratory using well-established techniques. Other duties include routine lab maintenance and assist with ordering.

; G( m. |2 c: T  @& w6 HSkills and Abilities Required
  ~2 F8 N& U1 ~Extensive experience in mammalian cell culture is required, in particular high-throughput or large-scale environment.

Practical knowledge of common molecular biology techniques is desirable, particularly in PCR, plasmid construction, DNA sequence analysis and western blotting.

+ @* T# r' ^2 U4 nHave good record keeping habits and abilities, suitable to maintain accurate and complete records.

Previous industrial working experience is a great asset.
