Biotech Technologist Position Available

  P" f( k8 A9 N! a( A6 L3 q" pPosition Overview: Under minimal supervision, work as a technologist in a startup biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) in Edmonton. Responsible for the execution of experiments in a laboratory using well-established techniques. Other duties include routine lab maintenance and assist with ordering.

Extensive experience in mammalian cell culture is required, in particular high-throughput or large-scale environment.

Practical knowledge of common molecular biology techniques is desirable, particularly in PCR, plasmid construction, DNA sequence analysis and western blotting.

; d( ^* R( G2 cHave good record keeping habits and abilities, suitable to maintain accurate and complete records.

Ability to precisely follow written and verbal directions.

Previous industrial working experience is a great asset.

Minimum Qualifications
! x$ ~' H6 a0 y1 {" CBachelor or Master degree in cell biology, biochemistry or other related areas.
