Position Overview: Under minimal supervision, work as a technologist in a startup biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) in Edmonton. Responsible for the execution of experiments in a laboratory using well-established techniques. Other duties include routine lab maintenance and assist with ordering. ! M/ p& S" ^+ t- g$ T8 s8 c

Skills and Abilities Required 6 v1 z. X6 a$ I. l2 z6 w. `6 I! c
Extensive experience in mammalian cell culture is required, in particular high-throughput or large-scale environment.9 n9 x5 E* q( i, q- C3 M& ~2 j
' ]# {! o2 M0 `/ |" q' ^$ e- Y
Practical knowledge of common molecular biology techniques is desirable, particularly in PCR, plasmid construction, DNA sequence analysis and western blotting. 3 c7 u) T W3 y9 k1 T/ p% g7 i+ a
2 ^, f2 R6 g# Y, x/ I4 n9 [! dHave good record keeping habits and abilities, suitable to maintain accurate and complete records.

Minimum Qualifications
