Immigrant Settlement Program (ISP) at ASSIST Community Services Centre is currently seeking flexible individuals to fill the following two positions:

Position Title: Outreach Worker (Full time: 35 hours per week)
% v5 y; F, O0 f外展服務員
. O6 `' A2 @) Y: v7 {4 A# CJob Description
. c( ^1 U3 }& @. S7 d-        promote ISP and other programs and services to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information
1 X, t; ]* ?0 o& j0 @7 J0 z0 ?-        contact with various media: i.e. newspaper, radio, website and newsletter etc.
-        update and develop brochures, pamphlets, information packages and newsletter etc.
4 V8 O+ c/ |0 J7 C7 \4 D2 k, n-        promote, organize and coordinate activities for Newcomers Club as well as recruit and maintain new members for the Club.
: X$ I) _" J/ B-        ISP report writing, data collection, evaluations conduct and budget management.
, @. [- y8 R" @-        assist with volunteer recruitment and other business and services as needed and assigned.

7 C0 _% z$ S9 @8 oQualifications:
7 w' V7 D& g, c0 e- G) X5 y-        post-secondary degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline
-        relevant experience with community work
. \' U+ t/ s( ]! U& O1 N-        Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset

; i, n" \) _  ?; X9 f* W: u* cPosition Title: Receptionist/Immigration Services Worker (Full time: 35 hours per week)

' V3 m+ J/ L$ y' T; SJob Description
-        answer multi-line phone calls professionally, politely and directing the calls correctly.
/ J. J& j: ~" n-        assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker
-        report to the program manager and provide clerical support to all members of the ISP team

Qualifications:
-        post secondary diploma
-        customer service and office clerical experiences
  J+ @+ y4 l7 j% Y-        Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
