我不同意,我觉得vulnerable虽然在身体上和精神上都可以,但是是说容易受攻击被伤害。比如一个母亲带着孩子上街遇到坏人,这个母亲就很vulnerable, 但是母亲本身在精神上可能很坚强。而脆弱是说一个精神上很不坚强 ... & M% {& p7 d: \

'fragile' means:

2. not secure: unlikely to withstand any severe stresses and strains

3. physically weak.

So when we say someone is fragile, it most likely than not means this person is not physically strong, very close to delicate. But I heard some people use it for the meaning you mentioned, but on kids. Therefore, personally I will still choose 'vunerable' and yes, it refers to both but both fit. |
