Position: Resource Coordinator / Terms: Full-time / Salary range: $34,000 to $40,000 annually, based on qualifications + plus an excellent benefits package. Closing Date: February 6, 2008.% Y! }+ E7 r0 D" v1 x7 o

This position is responsible for: managing/promotion the ESPC Resource Library (including compiling & purchasing resources, retrieving/analyzing reference materials, promoting library materials & services, etc.); consulting with community partners about their social research priorities and needs (helping to inform the creation of new research partnerships and projects).

; @4 K) F0 h, a, E& }/ k" ?PLUS: assisting with ongoing research projects (in particular, data and information retrieval and analysis, and report preparation) and various other responsibilities including, but not limited to, assisting in website maintenance.) F% _# u6 l7 u; {$ e
* Y) M+ n% s* S8 s+ M& M& @6 ?The successful applicant will: hold a post secondary degree (or related experience) in the social sciences or a related field; have research & analytical skills/experience; possess excellent written/verbal communication skills; be well organized & have confident computer skills.& R( z% }( r$ Y
3 T$ x! x- v# CPLUS: able to work independently & within a team environment; have a keen interest in social issues & a desire to make a difference through one's work.
