- answer multi-line phone calls professionally, politely and directing the calls correctly.

- reports to the program manager and provides clerical support to all members of the ISP team8 q$ b* n; u. f. [# _) {; P. j0 Z7 J

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community7 Q. v" K0 A# A b, l
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services
3 e0 \' Y G6 U2 g8 K: J- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services7 G3 L$ p! Q, D
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies7 f2 N/ r$ `( i( k% v9 D
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members
8 j" A% ]) ?* v8 l7 O3 A8 ^( w- update ASSIST website/ r, w# r1 S5 y
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
3 o% p/ [. O7 }/ G; o- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services
& Q- F' |+ T4 ]- }. m1 i3 W- assist in writing proposal for ISP

- hold regular meetings with ISP team0 |5 ~1 A( r: h/ c) [ D" A t9 M5 J, m
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time3 S# p" {; m* S$ U7 U9 `' h7 F
- update membership database

. ]3 x( y1 ^1 B) GQualifications! l. ?+ c( E, L
- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education 2 K7 Q8 f) f# ], H, d$ y
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
; j1 G4 E5 n7 D- experience in community work and immigrant services
