- assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker6 H9 D' e- l' c- Z
- reports to the program manager and provides clerical support to all members of the ISP team$ N2 \- a0 K) G4 q f

Job Description
" f) G6 u! A; H# ], _- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community
7 {! k% H0 V7 K3 ]" b8 W1 @- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services
! S. k7 L4 \ r$ ?$ }& M; p. ]- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services
& ?5 |) L5 E! E! O- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies, h( q; `/ i. S6 `% c; |
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members. A1 b: ]. D9 d2 k/ P" s; l
- update ASSIST website
" h4 `& F& k5 o2 U/ L# [- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
! t" o- p" J; A ^0 n2 c- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services1 e! X' f7 U# C5 v- |- }5 W
- assist in writing proposal for ISP! R0 Q$ x0 z! `' Z( `/ ]; B! `2 v
- write quarterly and final reports for ISP

- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time6 A! ^ F( Z% o1 f% }

- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required); E/ q. `4 ]5 U6 x9 V. n

$ Q; h3 a5 J) c% B: z; z; Z9 Y- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education

- experience in community work and immigrant services2 l6 J. @7 H: \4 f& j, P
