· The Examiner will introduce him/herself and provide proof of identification, when requested.' o9 a0 P: u$ v# @8 j
· All Driver Examiners are licensed by Alberta Infrastructure and Transportation under the Driver Training. U, P$ x) n3 A' C1 V$ Z
and Driver Examination Regulation. They are monitored to ensure they provide high quality road2 M9 ^8 I4 d A* s- S
tests. They should be courteous and professional, keeping conversation at all times relevant to the$ A, ^; `2 L* s" O8 V2 E O
road test.

What do I bring for my road test?

then you must also provide acceptable photo ID.
5 F$ R$ q0 o8 t: b5 D: N0 v· Wear clothing that is practical for driving and comfort. It should be appropriate for the1 A# a4 e7 M' K- t! L
weather conditions (in case your vehicle breaks down and you have to wait or walk)./ [! Q% m, b" k" a
· Your vehicle must meet all legal requirements (good mechanical condition, valid, {* g$ g5 r8 y- {5 d2 B# `( u8 ]
insurance and registration) and have enough fuel for at least one hour of driving.; I9 [8 B# \- ~* V5 M# K/ ~

· You will be given ample instruction in advance for each manoeuvre and activity.

You must not do anything that is considered unlawful, dangerous, or unsafe, (for example, speeding or not

· The Examiner will not try to trick you.

The Examiner will give you a copy of the Driver Examination Checklist form. You will also be given a copy of the/ T4 S4 }( D2 g
Test Permit. This will indicate that you have passed. Take this permit, along with your learner’s licence, to any
, }# Y* z5 w4 ^# N5 t' G0 KAlberta Registry Agent to have your licence changed to a Class 5 Probationary Licence. There will be a fee for this$ L0 ]/ |" j+ A4 I
service.
