Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele2 W1 {! u% _3 V& u, C5 \
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management' ]& Q' O- B5 y- P% K( A' r$ E0 N
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers1 Q3 l8 g. Q1 R# o2 c
Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
; }/ Z, o2 b; B. R+ RWorks within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
3 f8 C" L+ c8 F$ O tEdits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
4 n* R( C. G& I% [Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP* p) b$ @! c+ F2 Y0 a- c S- d
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS4 i( a. x. y1 Z0 p4 x! n2 z* V) j
Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases% Y/ l t" w# _2 g5 z
Qualifications
; k! P1 D6 x: a! ]Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program' m j% Q4 T: V" O) a% ~6 v3 N2 ~
Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer4 ] T- Z8 j0 M# s6 H
Minimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations" {4 ~" ]; L) @! g2 H- d @
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
