! u" I" x. ]' E; e9 Z  QWorks within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
# `5 T. v( K  K; S9 y9 NResponsible for specialization in workstation image management
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
  `; w# t. a# L! j# J0 S  B7 r0 [Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
% K2 `! r2 x; U' O8 B( p* f$ KWorks within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
8 V  I9 H/ C2 R. [2 ~  n& U2 k9 e5 [/ n/ JEdits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
3 }( S( P5 y; g& Q+ mDevelops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases
Qualifications
Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
8 O2 C3 t  \9 T( t' UMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
: w% [7 n  \1 n+ U( GExperience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
* O& r0 I* P5 D* mStrong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
! B4 V' h7 c% RAbility to work independently and in a team environment and under pressure
