Duties
3 ]5 C3 H+ }' u; A0 sWorks within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
: ^" b- u* k8 o/ C( s! V$ r- bResponsible for specialization in workstation image management
  [0 x9 [) X5 I; NResponsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
1 b: b1 [9 W' E7 N, R: qProvides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
& o) \* V, a7 T& U( QWorks within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
7 o6 F  Z( r. r, k4 T! oDevelops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
' K1 U, ~3 L( gDevelops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
/ l6 d) ]- b4 F8 [4 D  nDesigns, develops and implements MySQL relational databases
8 B/ B7 n/ L5 o! r5 p7 S3 aQualifications
Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
Minimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
Strong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
