9 s3 o! C$ _" l- Y fWorks within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele' K7 K& c: B/ w6 r' l* |
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management6 D+ r& n e/ Q4 d
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
: c' ^7 N$ `- I" l: KProvides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
7 [4 c6 k. s# l+ d5 J# DWorks within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
1 O# u5 @: f2 L9 oEdits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System5 C9 w$ r6 w0 ]* l. u, W
Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP4 i$ Z( f# r1 s3 X
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
+ m5 r* R1 a! O NDesigns, develops and implements MySQL relational databases; O( \7 `; D6 G7 o% ~
Qualifications
+ ] G: i% g% L' }, r- D: nTwo year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
' M( m- [ q: M0 [# L9 {1 y" GRecent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer* u. _! g/ g2 k
Minimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
# V r' s3 _, d; e9 [4 NExperience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL). z, o5 _# T, x+ S6 u% k9 }" T
Strong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills& z, o! q# j, u" A% Z) _
