Duties
( P9 c' x2 q) `4 N( u1 _0 `& z7 ?Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
4 P8 j/ B( n! C' Z0 H5 eResponsible for specialization in workstation image management
. O; B$ L' Y  kResponsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
) x* \5 `/ ]. Y5 q; C' ]Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
* ]* J7 |4 ]9 x9 b+ x! @+ E3 iWorks within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
) O- z7 f% b3 r" H3 L+ M9 EEdits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
. j3 E& x% T! N; g. X4 }5 h7 \( @Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
; j$ Q( i' z8 H8 Q( ]5 h3 }4 kDevelops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases

; _3 x# j6 F2 u, q$ A2 M% B4 V  }9 WTwo year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
* d! C( y+ ]: S6 Z+ q: u4 T" O2 N' H% ~Minimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
& d6 |0 q( o+ f! ]Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
; t+ K. N% r: x, l' C% {Strong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment and under pressure
