6 a- n0 b2 O, e1 `* @Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
) d8 u) f# F1 i7 @" `& C& Y0 L7 fResponsible for specialization in workstation image management
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
# Y$ f$ `2 l& B( r" G' k/ ZWorks within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
' I' o( G, w% k/ ?0 P2 |Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
5 G/ i% [1 H) R6 h! x' M! O% oDesigns, develops and implements MySQL relational databases
Qualifications
  `- F" G9 a# h, \. zTwo year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
) O. S* u( \, _% b" J. V2 W' s% W' MMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
, S0 G" v# u. yExperience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
+ l* n( \3 Y, Q+ j* GStrong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
3 I, ?9 ^6 j9 [+ `" ~: tAbility to work independently and in a team environment and under pressure
