Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele

Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff

Qualifications

Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
1 Z$ Z; v4 m) o. J7 G* KMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations, h" L0 s8 w! U: H9 l7 S
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)% N. ]" [) a$ I. {5 ^: z
Strong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills' V4 ]& |. _ ?0 `
Ability to work independently and in a team environment and under pressure
