Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele3 B* b8 S% O& t7 j3 A* H* w5 y
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management/ X* F4 O$ k! A9 N# F
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
) k' C. d4 C* o3 _$ aProvides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
2 \3 T) u. i Y# Y# ZWorks within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff

Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program0 Z& t7 Y3 `$ m# K8 b8 a
Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer+ e. ~/ J/ j' j( i8 |/ y
Minimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
( |; l0 y' t5 s" q% x( h# K: AExperience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
