8 M  O; E' v( ?By a Silent, Silent Chinese.
  T; ^5 h9 P. J8 E/ ~8 r
When we were called the Sick Man of Asia, we were the Yellow Peril.
When we are billed to be the next Superpower, we are a threat.

! B  W; [5 w1 _: hWhen we closed our doors, you smuggled drugs to our markets.
3 }  X, D0 }5 Z8 Q' rWhen we embraced Free Trade, you blame us for taking away your jobs.

! r% }. O' [& I) \# TWhen we were falling apart, you marched in your troops and wanted your “fair share”.
8 k" }% X4 U+ A: V# `0 ?- D2 BWhen we were putting the broken pieces together again, “Free Tibet” you scream, “it was an invasion!”

2 H& l# K: J; a4 H* xSo, we tried communism, you hated us for being communists
' f8 F9 p# _+ yWhen we embraced capitalism, you hate us for being capitalists.
$ F( z# N9 q4 n7 {  W4 o1 U7 V
# D9 ^: W0 {7 O; E( z$ [6 YWhen we have a billion people, you said we were destroying the planet.
* z. |( y. f! {4 Y0 R8 x1 h, DWhen we tried limiting our numbers, you said it is human rights abuse.
; e7 y9 ?$ S# z( s% m
/ U' t, m0 K' }/ YWhen we were poor, you thought we were dogs.
When we loan you cash, you blame us for your debts.
8 N7 W4 n! l4 E$ d  p; c5 O2 P. Y
When we build our industries, you called us polluters.
When we sell you goods, you blame us for global warming.

When we buy oil, you call that exploitation and genocide.
  }  R4 N: y# vWhen you fight for oil, you call that liberation and democracy.

When we were lost in chaos and rampage, you wanted rule of law for us.
, S7 L( b* o. C1 _; uWhen we uphold law and order against violence, you call that violating human rights.

8 t; _5 k9 m' f) T1 lWhen we were silent, you said you want us to have free speech.
When we were silent no more, you say we are brainwashed racists.

8 Y) I+ y* a1 `Why do you hate us so much? We asked.
' E$ W6 Y, n4 `- K  v/ [! Y- W“No,” you answered, “We don’t hate You.”

We don’t hate you either,
But do you understand us?

“Of course we do,” You said,

What do you really want from us?

3 |+ R" H7 l  CEnough is enough, enough Hypocrisy for this one world.

9 G- Y# {3 s0 D5 P4 m1 zWe want one world, one dream, and peace on Earth.
This big blue Earth is big enough for all of Us.
