ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (in order of importance. Other duties may

1. Consults with Sales Team in the layout, design and space planning of# f d" C( h5 ?7 O8 u
furniture specifications for client offices. Travels to client’s location to- F7 G. C& x5 I* P
measure layout.
4 \) |' \+ y& f2. Performs programming, space planning, furniture selection, layout, casework,! ?7 {% W ^3 A$ }
product pricing, design and selection of fabrics and finishes, includes as-built
" h, X/ |: g+ n) t y7 Fdrawings, block plans, space plans and finished working drawings for( Q* H& @5 p B
specification and installation.$ P: m3 B. F( E, D; m; Z
3. Provides professional customer interface by attending client planning B' ~7 U% m9 r& V6 A% ^
meetings to determine furniture needs and develops solutions to meet these
' @7 ~/ y- C% L2 c/ v# N& }needs.
* |9 x7 O$ W+ } B! m6 \) f4. Offers technical design and creative consultation to customers by answering5 M$ u- Q9 q4 S/ O' U" w2 f+ C
routine and highly specialized questions regarding furniture systems.; t8 W* q; `& ]
5. Coordinates, develops, and reviews proposed project designs and construction3 F) n8 n0 N6 C, Y* E4 n
plans. Prepares presentation material including color finish boards. Reviews job
; z2 z+ s# Z! J! F4 E: y0 fsite in order to perform accurate measurements. Will do plan-to-site adherence

& Design (A&D) drawing sets.

assures specifications are ready for order entry (SIF file), and manages changes

8. Verifies the company design standards have been met. Provides on-site job
# @& s* H2 [: |9 r' L( Z2 minspections comparing construction drawings to final build-out.( x; u; ~0 n& [& b4 y: x
9. Tracks, records and ties design hours to specific projects for job costing.
3 p8 E5 }; A/ s" ]+ n10. Works with installers to ensure installation meets customer specifications.

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design with a minimum of two (2) years in a! i! F7 u& p- P3 b) R' y
related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and

6 J0 ]# Y1 P, {/ P" Cknowledge of systems furniture, and experience in customer interaction required.
