I thought it means I'm sorry to hear that, but the respones is : it's not your fault, & M4 o/ K% t7 B' c. e; K, s% G/ b- F) \4 K. L) t5 N

很显然:sorry about that 的意思绝非:听到这消息很遗憾或很抱歉,而且"很对不起",因此人家会说:这不是你的错. $ R X1 o0 Z9 i- V+ b1 k - G/ x4 S- x9 w这也就是我发贴的问题.
"I am sorry" or "Sorry about that" is the simplified usage of "I am sorry to hear that". Although the respones is " It's not your fault," IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT!
