Early Yrs Assistant/Family Literacy Facilitator – Sept 08 to June 09 (10 month contract). 20hrs/wk, $15 /hr. Must enjoy working with children ages 0 – 5 and their parents. ECD or ECE training and experience required. Intro to Family Literacy and training in family literacy programming preferred.

7 @; R# \- X; j9 l7 _3 \2 }The early years assistant will work with the Centre's intensive family literacy program, Learning Together, which will be running out of St. Gerard school starting this fall.  Parents and their children ages 3- 5 attend this program together. The assistant will work closely with the Early Years Facilitator and also with the Adult Session facilitator for the program.  The remaining hours will be assigned to co-facilitating other Centre family literacy programs such as Rhymes That Bind.
