Position: Youth Services Coordinator

, l- |1 i% r" @& o: \2 AResponsibilities
! w" L( j: \5 C8 no        Accountable for Towards  A New Generation (T.A.N.G.) youth program
* Q$ a* r$ `& p: n$ vo        Writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth program
o        Supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
o        Coordinate, develop, and manage a summer youth program
# _4 F" T. N* `/ n: J  Y3 oo        Liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
o        Train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
- B; k% c! R  Z6 mo        Accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
" d' |! }8 c$ K) Q; zo        Demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
2 }- ^! O# H% D2 h  Zo        Participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
( \3 y; u! K, T7 F1 }1 h8 |" ]: O1 J" lo        Be open and willing to explore new ideas
o        Work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
o        Be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

0 k; Y  k" F( s- \Qualifications
o        Degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
o        Good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
4 V/ R6 }2 F0 I7 _o        Experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
o        Leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
& x" Z6 {- {+ }o        Willingness to learn

$ G* o+ P9 Q- z& X! C; \o        Requires police security check at the expense of employee and child welfare check
