Enhanced Respite Program

The YWCA Edmonton Family Services program is

Coordinated Enhanced Respite program at a variety of( X2 U: h/ S( J- O& Z
locations in the city.
8 _1 Q p7 e: KStaff would provide respite care to parents or primary( N8 |: F7 d K" j5 B G+ W
care givers of children with moderate to severe physical/ d* G9 \& e! G
or cognitive developmental disabilities for shifts of three, H$ P4 x- ? {7 Q5 M( k7 u
(3) or more hours per day worked. During the school& N9 A, Y7 e: [; y7 b9 B
year, as the children are in school during the day, the) s2 ^& v9 D; A) }% U
bulk of the hours available will be late afternoons and

However, during the summer months, there will be. G' T" f* ?- }
extended hours available during weekdays while

with children with mental and/or physical

• Standard First Aide with Level C CPR
