I do not think Firefox is faster than IE. There are more viruses to IE just because it's more popular and Firefox is pretty new. If FireFox occupies 80% of the market, who knows what will happen. For whatever reason, Firefox should be safer, I am not saying faster though. But spyware/adware can make your computor very slow. Check you folder: - Z9 c1 o" K/ W. R1 L A( t# g2 `! w% H# Q( t
Documents and Setting\(your user name)\cookie or folder system32 to see what kind of adware\sypware already in your system / \8 q: m5 H. c; c) K K' C. @& J$ U8 m1 h# S, h, y/ V

All of them are just cookies. If you do not like the activeX, in XP, you can just disable it in the IE configuration.9 k7 A( D8 o) C5 U0 G

不管什么原因，只要安全就好。。。你说得对，用得多的软件，漏洞多。但是，如果Ｆｉｒｅｆｏｘ相对安全（或者说黑客琢磨得少），何尝不是它的一个长处？
