Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant# d' P+ H0 } h! z$ f, ~
Location: Edmonton

8 f3 K1 U5 \& ~% FMajor Responsibilities:
( R% ~7 Q3 j! T1 I• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.! w/ o- W5 e3 n# g+ g
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
/ T8 T' s* A, H0 j/ x• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. ) y4 E$ H- T8 k2 d5 w$ X6 G
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.# i" d- X$ M6 j: }& R6 T5 P
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.; L4 {1 k9 R$ i1 v' G M
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.

• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.( _& d# `4 m; b
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.( {; D1 H& L% V0 v7 D
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
4 Q* M8 p; o: i# ?• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
! Q/ G* W! K I: F. B! ?• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
; b) s. q" K' v$ N3 x ^ h% e6 E• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.8 k( R& T( N1 a% {3 B& @, `( S
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:0 Z$ W1 E) d$ @
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
5 E# {/ M+ C5 D" P$ Y% s! g9 L• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
( a7 f0 x! x. ~0 p7 w• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
5 D7 w" B5 u) @# N) C& h, y• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
! t9 g( E, ~+ m3 j& L• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
8 g5 S5 C! |0 K: ?4 _+ X7 O* A• Not scared of heights
+ H3 w W) p }% w- B1 o8 @• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
& j3 w9 R8 X4 m5 c( a( H" j• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
