Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant: h- a6 w$ {; V4 s4 B

Reports to: National Sales Manager

Major Responsibilities: ; H; l, c$ X3 V' q' I6 P7 i h
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
6 b. F. D. x: R; Z- K1 K! X* I; E/ J• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
- b! l, E2 b6 u• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 3 `5 p: l( G2 G3 h4 E# n
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.3 e- W2 v1 p3 a U/ t' {" b
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis., `! Z0 Q$ B" C4 b! y! A, U( A+ _4 F
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
- W# i. N+ e3 V2 U• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas. g. `1 L: b" w* C
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.: B7 |; B, r# p, B$ l% q
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.8 Z* c' N8 L2 H8 D
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.) z4 ]. I! e- l$ G: `0 ]
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
9 s! R% E6 ~( `* s) M• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes., d) L& H! i* M+ q
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.) l* F! K0 i# m, o; b
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
- ~& n) }) m6 V6 Q- F• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
) E3 ~6 d o* _$ G+ o4 f6 ]; Y• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
; ~6 h2 J8 I5 e% u1 k# Z# z2 G: s• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 6 E% Y7 h( R0 w$ c# _
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. % f* R' y$ K% z+ [9 J: L
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential$ @7 z( Y, L6 y0 t+ C
• Not scared of heights! |& n4 t7 `/ ^* f( \
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other5 M0 e8 z) S4 D, y5 ^1 {; t
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
