Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant: r, ?  F# C; M% E/ K7 l. [  m

Reports to:        National Sales Manager

: d  K8 Q0 h& X! @! dMajor Responsibilities:
* e- _) J3 J/ j' x# z7 f  {•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.+ b+ d# ~" c$ D- Y4 m0 l4 P
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
5 ?- s0 J7 Z( ]: S* O•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
% W* \' L9 O5 c/ {) b5 J& r% v•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.5 v3 j* }( ~2 u) N
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
4 I+ ]  D4 [0 @6 E3 f•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
" o& D& Z2 E, G) t- l7 C9 {2 T; R# G•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.1 k% E% W3 ^. S8 Y3 K7 T
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
: {" C! m/ O: _, i•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
2 b0 _6 i* d' F5 U& p. Z3 n•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.8 M! p/ g& P  W, @8 L6 P
•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
0 T+ c- _; O6 u•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.
. o6 t8 _- |0 x3 t" Z/ \: l•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.- f! l8 G# D0 P4 W% `
•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

1 ?+ Q+ ?4 C( n4 R•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
+ w6 h  Q! B! k1 Y% Q  N+ B6 Q2 p* c•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. + G) m1 i8 \) l0 D/ f0 Y# x
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.

•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
