Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant8 [$ u) p5 v/ W3 _
Location:        Edmonton

5 X- N  B' ^& T5 A6 c/ NMajor Responsibilities:
6 e4 ]( f5 L' V: M0 z( ]•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
! w6 X* d6 _# m, J. t) Q/ I•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
! q6 g, [* O# }5 o2 M•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
: z6 N7 U. `. D- Y•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
# U4 k% J0 T# R* F' n•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
4 C+ N  ]+ e' U0 G/ V* _•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
" R) v6 L0 Q$ l; T( Q& J# J•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.8 W% e, t; |" ^$ e) J
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.9 o- A8 {% L' g' L! O$ s
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
1 v: m8 w& O0 @( A•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
9 i! a' p' u4 c6 U  ?+ F•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
! L4 [1 p' F& J" t7 Q•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.
6 ?3 _5 R5 h5 G2 N: V) s•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.( w9 f3 e( Z. U; `1 p
•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
: v: l. F3 Z  @' ^5 z7 m. S•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. - Z- Y3 b4 ?, f% V2 `* b
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
# h4 V4 n4 P3 {+ l•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
5 c) X3 q0 H' G4 `" @•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 9 E# e! N" p3 N, v
•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
