Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
' h, b9 l2 L, c9 Y. {! H• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
1 x& M. \; }! |• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
f+ E9 s- I' r" k• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.3 {, ~+ i% P$ Q* P
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.( U6 z; G8 N8 X) ?3 ~5 c i
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
! x# c; S& N, s% p5 e• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
! y1 p' q$ ?& R• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.

• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
3 }0 a, j' v, c' S! r' j9 S0 v+ z• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy." M( M2 a( |1 w6 F0 A
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes., d$ c) X; E' X+ {+ K+ u
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.. n& v- o& ?# O; s0 \) E# Y. c

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
8 \+ f; d: |* Z: S' ?• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. : s" \! w% Z! \! h+ x
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. . n4 C1 @5 f, Y; a
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. , f. o1 o# H* r5 x8 t1 a( n
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential$ B6 G# v- Z# h4 v6 C
• Not scared of heights+ _1 T2 v; {& h# [" O
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other3 I. H2 u1 E- O" t
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. & D! h! M' v* Z
