Major Responsibilities:
$ S7 `1 y/ Q! Z5 F6 K. Z4 @3 X•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
+ }! ?2 Q$ X5 ~$ r0 l- ~5 n* z•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
4 u' T9 O) P3 b+ X/ g•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  , ^. k6 w6 B( `, c+ _9 Q
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.5 g! M; I9 P, P  @- u) b! c: [
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
/ v+ R+ K0 y, K$ P( Y. M, X. c- Q•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.5 o  `" X; |. D* L5 S, y+ O4 o
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.

& K9 p7 G, D' u1 O•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.7 L; y, l* K8 `# ]' K1 _: Q
•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
) U6 B) s- j3 _( O•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
+ @( E2 s1 D; x: W•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes." F- d1 ?/ n6 ~1 s; R
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 0 d7 M% _3 r( f' d- d$ H5 d% ?
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 7 S( ?$ J/ d, W# X8 m4 T+ C5 g+ Y: f
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.

•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
