Job Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
% g9 u6 O* b6 f  N•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
# F- d7 B5 O3 G7 u; J: Q$ {•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
8 K- ]: O1 v! ]1 H) w. Y3 ?•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
) c5 ]3 M: b0 \# v•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
+ q2 J7 n  `- P6 {5 W) m- Y8 d: b0 f; O•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
. @0 H5 Q2 ?9 w1 @/ p•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
6 @  B0 E6 _4 l" \' A/ `& S•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
