Full time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
. n1 p  b. q+ n% z  S* h* |•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
& G+ Z9 [& D; H5 i5 z' |•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
3 l6 s" \. Q9 D6 ?; U: s•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
( N( i4 H; P' ]•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
  b% c8 @4 s, ^1 K•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
, H# y( Q- {: }/ L2 T+ H•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
* E! g4 |: x/ z•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
