Job Description
: V( p& Q; Z9 dPosition: Youth Services Manager

Job Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
. v( W7 L9 P5 F% |•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
/ K9 }7 l& e5 I•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
9 k; D1 L( i  S! @•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
5 O0 t8 l* R8 P  y! v* ?$ i6 S•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
- d; P1 Z2 ?9 T4 k5 ^•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
" v) k" X+ j5 S2 l3 `/ h•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends

Qualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
