Job Description
  H! U, n) J# }) A9 _Position: Youth Services Manager
0 Q. p  u& }* L# h4 EFull time position (35 hours each week)

4 X6 p3 P, A% u* l1 pJob Description – Responsibilities
9 |: h  p1 S3 |$ |•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
4 H* q5 I4 m' s•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
1 F# H$ N7 I1 p/ A•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
5 F6 t' V  I& [# W2 f9 O•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
5 n: S2 }6 R& r•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
3 L6 w5 Q! ]4 R, [/ v•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
% D8 T. g( Z1 _1 J5 P•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
