Full time position (35 hours each week)

  \  A0 V7 U& L# L0 k( EJob Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
! Q, s; k7 h( s•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
& Q- f# u: j& c•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
. I; d7 Y. F9 c* r•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
4 T$ \1 ]% `: p5 [2 S2 J" T3 s3 p•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
. r9 @( o* f+ j•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
. n! N1 u0 d2 Q: R+ s4 Y•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

9 [1 W: S5 V9 rQualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
- A; y1 R3 y, T- H0 [8 X# q/ `•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
& c2 F7 h5 S1 M6 s1 a0 [* g; A! S•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
: u- H" Q% h6 {•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
1 i8 U; M- Q( y3 W. f9 W. i•        willingness to learn
