Position: Youth Services Manager
# {1 q3 C; |# V5 [& q. lFull time position (35 hours each week)

1 m2 b0 N! q$ s: |* n6 b" c5 L/ r( IJob Description – Responsibilities
9 R! y! m4 e7 M) l•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
$ S% p. @( r# h+ u•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
3 L7 s" x0 u! |! a•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
! H5 H+ n, n3 {•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
7 f- p) r6 r8 T8 l•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
- s/ y  @9 H& I•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
' D1 q2 N: ?, p1 j# b- }$ f# ?•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
