Job Description
Position: Youth Services Manager
. Q* Y7 [3 y3 ^8 I7 }Full time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
  g( _3 c6 m1 V. n•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
2 @8 i6 F2 n3 T+ ]•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
+ Q; e: Z) i- x6 c•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
1 X* D' A) P' d: a* _•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
; A; x  j7 a8 N•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
7 I; M- i/ c2 ~5 o•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
: D, R: m$ |* v/ M( y•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
/ H9 q/ _6 O. G* M# Z•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
