Job Description
+ i: S7 P4 I% fPosition: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

- {$ Z( x4 F4 B, b- GJob Description – Responsibilities
  b' B8 f+ k4 o6 L1 c! }8 ?•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
8 b1 J1 W/ H- l8 o1 Y2 w•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
# n; M/ ~6 u! V9 I•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
6 @; y! s' Z8 V! F  [•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
/ Z* t% J; O! {) j( ]•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
2 V1 h( C" l8 o7 m" ~# X3 u  V•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
" o7 N" x( d( Q$ l1 X•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
9 Y/ J6 j% [) V5 Y•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
% K/ C  T+ E& b' }! O* g" L•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn

•        requires police security check at the expense of employee and child welfare check
