The Canadian Accreditation Council of Human Services is a non-profit company dedicated to a peer review accreditation process based on best practice standards, ensuring organizations focus on service excellence.

We are seeking a very skilled individual who is well connected to Aboriginal communities, knowledgeable about standards and accreditation processes, self motivated and able to work independently.

. G/ n$ ]- ~: V" ADuties:
•        Provide administrative support to Organizations preparing for accreditations and to Peer Review Teams during the process.
, Q% _" t6 n9 Z  \+ F0 Q•        Develop and deliver workshops/training sessions to assist organizations to develop or strengthen their capacity to provide excellent programming.
•        Facilitate peer review, team leader training and other related workshops.
•        Assist in the development and revision of standards, manuals, and tools used within the accreditation process.

% V' K! }3 P- [9 L1 XRequirements:
•        Able to work with people from diverse background and interests towards consensus.
•        Understanding of adult learning, workshop development and group facilitation.
; Q' R! t! N/ M: _•        Degree in the area of human services;
) Q/ F  T; g. k/ r•        Able to travel extensively ;
9 G- Q9 E& j( W$ I, j6 i) i( z•        Able to work in a team as well as independently;
•        Excellent written and oral communication skills;
•        Experience working in non-governmental agencies and the Aboriginal community;
•        Current CYIM, Criminal Record Check, Driver’s Abstract and access to a vehicle.
