The Canadian Accreditation Council of Human Services is a non-profit company dedicated to a peer review accreditation process based on best practice standards, ensuring organizations focus on service excellence.

( q! b4 D7 {. k! H6 B We are seeking a very skilled individual who is well connected to Aboriginal communities, knowledgeable about standards and accreditation processes, self motivated and able to work independently.

Duties:
•        Provide administrative support to Organizations preparing for accreditations and to Peer Review Teams during the process.
•        Develop and deliver workshops/training sessions to assist organizations to develop or strengthen their capacity to provide excellent programming.
•        Facilitate peer review, team leader training and other related workshops.
( a8 y/ g4 J/ f" y4 ~+ Q•        Assist in the development and revision of standards, manuals, and tools used within the accreditation process.

Requirements:
. }! {: i) Z7 R. U( P5 b2 i•        Able to work with people from diverse background and interests towards consensus.
•        Understanding of adult learning, workshop development and group facilitation.
) p! `5 W0 |6 a0 _4 w•        Degree in the area of human services;
•        Able to travel extensively ;
•        Able to work in a team as well as independently;
* d5 ]  g1 E, Y# s& G' Z* Q•        Excellent written and oral communication skills;
* s( \/ v# F8 ^% o: o•        Experience working in non-governmental agencies and the Aboriginal community;
•        Current CYIM, Criminal Record Check, Driver’s Abstract and access to a vehicle.
