Focused on the big picture, GAER is a highly collaborative partnership who work together to explore opportunities; and find solutions for regional issues that has real impact for its communities and businesses.

! f9 c: A9 T5 Z! R0 l: I" {Position Abstract: The Regional Sustainability Coordinator will be responsible for effectively leading and delivering the AUMA's Municipal Sustainability Planning (MSP) Initiative, Phase 4.
: U1 R0 W# B5 V( c6 s( G; X5 ?
) c  v1 V0 O6 O, T2 O$ j' TThe successful candidate will be self-directed and able to work within a collaborative team process, to plan/coordinate the development/delivery of learning resources/events at the local community level within the GAER region.

- G! f6 E3 ^2 }, c) @7 X7 R; \; hKnowledge, Education & Experience: A Bachelor's degree in social sciences, administration or arts with relevant work experience is considered an asset.

& o: I8 ^! p( o! jThe ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years experience in the following areas: community development/community leadership capacity building; development of partnerships between yourself and the local stakeholders; project coordination; knowledge of municipal planning; superior written/oral communication skills; report-writing and evaluation; working with people of all ages and from diverse backgrounds; communications planning and implementation.
