We select only the top candidates and those with exceptional skills have the opportunity to advance as store managers and to work in a variety of locations throughout Canada.

1) Highly motivated and self-directed learners

! p9 K( Y4 p, H+ G3 G6 y7 p3) Excellent with mathematics
4) Proficient in computers.
5) Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)

Criteria for selection for Assistant Front Store Managers (Wage $18+):

1) Highly motivated and self-directed learners
2) Ability to work in a fast pace and to multitask
8 h' l2 @/ f" q5 C" Z3) Able to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner
4) Well-organized & focused
7 ?6 S3 x2 X4 C  l( W  L5 t9 ^) y6 C5) Able to assign tasks and lead work groups.
+ Z& E) E8 e$ m, Z% q6) Proficiency in computers.
# W, ^3 [( o9 R8 D0 K, E7) Work well with other staff and in teams.
8) Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)

' k# \" C  T/ i4 d% sEXCEPTIONAL CANDIDATES MAY BE SELECTED TO PURSUE THE SHOPPERS DRUG MART LEAD PROGRAM FOR FRONT STORE MANAGERS AND THE OPPORTUNITY TO WORK IN OTHER LOCATIONS IN EDMONTON.

% e4 o3 _. p5 H7 T; ^' [5 I* zALL CANDIDATES START AS CASHIER/MERCHANDISER AT $10 AN HOUR. WE REVIEW CANDIDATE'S PROGRESS WITHIN 30 DAYS.

Individuals who do not have the ability/skill to become managers may be offered continued position as a staff member if positions are available. All candidates must undergo 90-day probationary period in which they are subject to periodic review of their performance/progress.

Past management experience is not a guarantee that the candidate will meet our criteria.
