Cantruss, 俺来说两句。。。。哎哟,谁在扔砖头?!
"Cantruss", as well called as "Uni-strud", or "C channel", is a very commonly used industrial/commercial standard framing/supporting material, usually used to make a sort of brackets as a support to Cable Tray by using spring nuts and bolts, or use "P Clamp" to hold pipes/conduits/cables, even sometime are used to bolt onto another material directly. : \* `* s+ u" ]7 R& r* V
$ z e) W5 W% ?" {* d3 Hthe most commonly used size of cantruss also called standard cantruss has its dimension of 2 5/8" by 1 7/16", with holes bored on either side or just a whole piece. other than that, we also use "shallow cantruss", which is half the depth of standard size or "double cantruss", which is pre-manufactured two standard cantruss simply back to back welded together.+ m8 _! The best way to cut a contruss is by using chop saw, however chop saws are banded on some jobsite in Alberta, which is very wired. other means of cutting a contruss might be band saw, sawsall(reciprocating saw), or hydraulic cantruss cutter. Hacksaw does work as well, by you might need a little bit musle!# Y0 R) Y, H# }9 N1 o8 w, n* A
1 h& ?' x* r! @2 ~Most common ways to put cantruss together is by welding, drill hole and bolt it together, or using some pre-fabricated "T" or "L" shape joiners

% }& ]! n, u5 qSteel cantruss is usually galvanized for corrosion resistance, but the galvanize also causes some problem and generate poison gas when welding . So, remember to grind the galvanize off about half inch back at either end of the welding points before you deliver it to a welder will be highly appreciated by welders.
