$ j' Q6 x. A1 k5 s7 \1 K0 P 1. All Albertans are responsible to pay premiums unless they qualify for premium assistance, government-sponsored income support programs, or are senior citizens.
; A! y( o+ @" S V% p- v8 f2 x9 _ 2. Employers and benefit administrators who register and pay premiums on behalf of their employees will continue to do so.
7 y0 u5 \. h3 l) q/ u1 @+ G) w- M. n 3. Alberta Health and Wellness will continue to pursue collections from those who fail to pay premiums.
" L, M* K* R7 g9 @) c- @/ C7 \- M 4. Contributors to Alberta Blue Cross or other supplementary insurance plans that provide prescription drug, dental, and other extended coverage, will still pay those premiums, as they have not been eliminated.
