! f" r' G1 L. L& [! N* GHIV Edmonton is looking for a Fund Development Coordinator. This is a "hands-on" position dealing with HIV Edmonton donors, staff and volunteers on a daily basis. The primary responsibility is to develop and implement the overall fundraising strategy for HIVE.+ H" e S, y1 W9 d# H
+ Y3 ]. w' h8 _# j) x& pKey Responsibilities: lead in the creation of a Fund Development Department in meeting its income targets for revenue and capital through existing/new fundraising activities; develop strategies for significant growth in income to fund new programs and projects; represent HIV Edmonton externally and to build high-level support for its work.( ?3 |$ Q2 W4 @ J8 Z! ?& y! B' M
" B( Y# H5 {/ x9 q IPLUS: effective coordination, delivery and logistical administration of all fundraising events; secure/confirm event logistics, sponsors, prizes, supplies, and volunteers need to run fundraising events. Specific events at this time include: Scotia Bank AIDS Walk for Life and a casino in the fall.- m3 h1 A8 d1 u4 ~& y6 z+ j4 K

G& P2 u% `6 YIn addition: enhance HIV Edmonton' fund development volunteer base and improve volunteer training and support processes; maintain systems and processes for monitoring income and expenditure on a monthly basis and to generate quarterly forecasts; manage the development of all high level fundraising relationships and ensures/supports the involvement of the Executive Director, where appropriate.$ x# h% w7 w) s& N3 o
