I5 B7 q0 U' BAs a Business Analyst, you will analyze business requirements, conduct impact analyses, and perform design, development, support and documentation activities in a dynamic and multi-application environment. Working under a Team Lead, you will help to develop a long term plan to replace our client's legacy applications.
y1 g1 Q! k7 }0 N2 uAs part of this endeavour, you will be responsible for performing the following type of activities:
% Q) _- s- @2 v6 {* k9 `Convert business requirements into design specifications and prepare specifications for user sign-off. ( ~' q+ R+ p4 ?- i, F
Create process and data models to visually represent requirements information.
/ p. w7 {6 C9 X5 v9 h% zPerform system testing with internal and external clients. Provide support during various phases of testing. 4 Z$ f/ b+ @* J
Assist with the resolution of code deficiencies found during the assembly test and system test phase.
# d% o: A4 S3 i! @! a+ SSupport, maintain and upgrade application after it moves into production.
7 v2 A) }8 `+ s4 S1 dAnalyze current technical and business objectives, plans, processes, information flows, and systems.
% B0 ?* A8 n- Z4 p; Y5 ^Assist in the identification, assessment and resolution of application problems and recommend modifications.
* m8 C1 m9 K( w6 LSummarize and present key findings with recommendations for improvement.
( {; t( Y- I$ m9 Q: s% [# A8 jResponsible for working with Project manager to set and review overall quality of deliverables. ; \' G9 h0 e/ r! X
Minimum of 2 years of experience in application development, experience with legacy applications would be an asset3 y0 d! P* i- @# T9 u( t9 l4 V
• A university degree in Computer Science, Commerce (MIS), or similar discipline is preferred, but an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered." W C" c t3 X, Q! W1 A
• Experience with Web Applications, VB.net, C# and/or .NET technologies an asset.2 ]' A; Z0 u: _1 a7 ]
• Understanding of Object Oriented design principles and the .Net Framework.
