As a Business Analyst, you will analyze business requirements, conduct impact analyses, and perform design, development, support and documentation activities in a dynamic and multi-application environment. Working under a Team Lead, you will help to develop a long term plan to replace our client's legacy applications. 5 n+ P; `& L, [
As part of this endeavour, you will be responsible for performing the following type of activities:) D( S, e' W! K
Convert business requirements into design specifications and prepare specifications for user sign-off. 0 K" R/ p4 M+ p: f: T+ T
Create process and data models to visually represent requirements information.
2 U& E: N0 U5 d' k7 d8 _# {- ePerform system testing with internal and external clients. Provide support during various phases of testing. j6 {: C$ Y- o
Assist with the resolution of code deficiencies found during the assembly test and system test phase.
6 J) {- V2 |3 k0 B9 C7 r# mSupport, maintain and upgrade application after it moves into production.
9 [9 q0 {% Y8 O( s; }Analyze current technical and business objectives, plans, processes, information flows, and systems.
6 O$ |* v$ @0 ] k9 EAssist in the identification, assessment and resolution of application problems and recommend modifications.
% k6 t7 ?0 ~, Q- n5 wSummarize and present key findings with recommendations for improvement.

+ s; ^+ ?: F/ q1 K Minimum of 2 years of experience in application development, experience with legacy applications would be an asset
+ L- Y8 r+ m2 o$ A O$ C/ t• A university degree in Computer Science, Commerce (MIS), or similar discipline is preferred, but an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
& E, t9 o! n. q) R( b• Experience with Web Applications, VB.net, C# and/or .NET technologies an asset.3 e" I. i- p. P9 k6 X& k
• Understanding of Object Oriented design principles and the .Net Framework.
% z; \; ]" d3 m$ E) a• Exceptional consultation skills are critical, with the ability to convey technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and contribute within a team environment.
