A twelve-week training program for careers in Child Care.

• Standard Child Care First Aid
' O8 E/ [/ S) Q, q. N Y6 w/ A• WHMIS M1 G7 ~! [1 \- H" \! |" a
• Practical and theoretical modules relevant to child care+ y# E; A; a% X
• Components to improve communication skills4 ~- O6 {+ N; k( f2 c
• Modules on Work Place Culture and Work Search

• be a landed immigrant, convention refugee or new citizen
$ p% g: {1 G# p0 O; Sof Canada
/ v. }* U5 d5 f. \; M• have a Social Insurance Number
5 ]2 w8 ?1 I% N/ g) j1 \- `• provide a completed criminal record check and child welfare check
p, ?7 E! U; O; d• CLBA score of at least 4 or completion of LINC 4 or equivalent. J; Z3 Z" P1 L: p
• demonstrate commitment to participating in a 12 week full-time" K7 Z* J2 E' L S9 k7 i2 |

3 y* ~) s# f0 ], OParticipants may be eligible for Grant Funding if they meet
$ ^& G6 j& Y! a* E Z5 uthe following requirements, in addition to the one listed above:
- J( X( |' L W1 h0 E• be unemployed or underemployed.: d; a/ Y- Q, F( X; D) M3 f9 A
They CANNOT quit their job to take the course; C) x4 |+ i, f
• meet the financial eligibility criteria
