Job Description

- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports! `: T+ r3 t9 {% V0 g8 S
- Recruit children for summer program7 ` h& l0 q& S& O& n
- Provide orientation for parents
1 e7 F$ {+ z* x1 b/ v- Find sponsors to enhance program
% W7 W' ]% a+ V1 k2 r% `9 w- Supervise volunteer(s)+ f0 d2 ]9 K( v8 r* X7 W
- Prepare final report for funding agency; R3 ]) t* G. i2 |5 o* H# ]9 m

Qualifications:
# w7 Q+ |" V0 v! V' s: y7 v! C2 J$ m+ s; z: j \
- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education/ y' ^8 Y: |- d% ]! g. _
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
2 M4 F$ t+ Y' v* {8 F& Q- communication skills
$ p, M1 ~! P, B4 f- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
( R! o: X; x6 n3 I2 E- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
& c$ z7 J j/ N8 e- good computer skills
, @# g: v% C$ e- leadership abilities
$ D. Z( \9 e: T4 m; d- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
