- Organize focus group(s)
* K9 p7 z4 }3 ]2 \0 e2 c+ x- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
) _, D: h8 w  [& L. ?: [- Find sponsors to enhance program
% f/ ?( v, T$ ?: e; q. `& N- Supervise volunteer(s)
" N! z8 N+ F& h+ ]- \) H8 W% E' Q- Prepare final report for funding agency
; q& _! e' t) d: \& u  A
/ b( `) r5 j- ^% p" _8 iQualifications:
/ u/ y3 o5 P9 F2 g" D
- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
0 D& q& h$ F8 q( ^- communication skills
/ O# \% D# z) }0 {9 Y& U9 r  |- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
9 a2 z. Q1 v5 h4 ?# s- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
5 }! N6 `$ n9 k" b- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
% U+ B& G  ^) R( K! h1 x- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary

8 i1 P- l# p5 ]6 R! s- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
