Responsibilities:
& e& v% g$ u% j+ h; x5 R-        Organize, plan, and facilitate the Children’s Summer Program
       (ages 6 to 15)
; s2 Z5 y0 Y1 v5 H-        Recruit children for summer programs
0 u3 @* t9 }, O0 R3 U-        Recruit volunteers for summer programs
-        Record keeping
-        Provide orientation for parents
  b0 }* k" ~* ]% N-        Prepare final end of summer report for funding agency
  u, r1 P+ p2 B-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Senior Program Manager
+ N( A& h  R8 p3 u" W; s! k+ p
6 h8 a0 ]- _& u+ EQualifications:
-        Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
5 y2 r. b7 p9 V0 }-        Should have direct experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
9 b- F$ _; t$ v& T  A-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
  x6 w4 p5 r5 i1 }- a& X-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-        Returning student (should return to school after summer)
-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

Other Information:
0 u2 \! t6 [5 y-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June(planning)   
, Z5 C# S' m* Z% [" D6 N        and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
-        Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009

Salary
