- Organize, plan, and facilitate the Children’s Summer Program $ L1 j5 |: E* W2 P
(ages 6 to 15) , _% X1 m7 V$ O9 f% M
- Recruit children for summer programs
/ j# W* D+ K% h( R: ?! S- Recruit volunteers for summer programs4 U) ]9 N9 s. F
- Record keeping
/ Y1 C' r% J* Q- Provide orientation for parents
( p: T) P" `" F7 P- Prepare final end of summer report for funding agency
" ~( y: ?* t5 G _6 S- Act according to the guidance or direction of the Senior Program Manager' b- s* E* W, i

- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
1 v' d" c$ \9 n N: L6 b5 o- Should have direct experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children& L* X' K! b+ p" h5 h, ]: m
- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
. d$ e: E2 |. `% q; @- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities- T/ \+ N* f( Z/ c/ I) ]* X' V
- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
; x2 @0 N: \, V- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities

- Returning student (should return to school after summer)

- Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June(planning) 8 |! Q) R; U: s2 X3 x( }
and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
