Children’s Summer Program Assistant, 2009

Responsibilities:
9 A* Q5 u) b+ B% t- Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the ! {3 F# c1 O- R: {% D& `
preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps/ L& u: y6 l5 `7 [' w
- Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program
. E0 U) i1 ^! J+ z& E9 h- Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies+ J8 ?* e- v( V* @: T
- Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program . n5 P/ R2 o" \# t

- Assist with any other program related tasks as assigned by the Senior Program Manager

* r5 \8 N3 _. G- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood
9 v# _* k. q6 ^: k$ Y, W: } Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education; s$ i3 T; R" z9 D# M) E5 _9 C4 U, R
- Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
3 R+ @, u0 M3 E6 k: @- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills! d7 M3 B9 J! D1 D% A1 @
- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
1 r, G2 M( }9 X9 ^' M/ c- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese9 h7 Y: E, ~7 s% W, t; } ?3 l
- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities

- Returning student (should return to school after summer)

- Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning) , I/ A+ D& l9 m4 L" n$ {4 t5 x6 C
and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)3 n; k X; J: t/ P
- Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009

- $14.00 per hour
