Responsibilities:
7 E0 b9 ]( B! O7 H8 ~5 M: D W- Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the 4 ^: _, {2 w- n
preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps
1 |% J' c" L( |6 I. e- Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program
* F* |0 q8 M y! G- Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
2 G: F. T2 z0 q7 Y! M- Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program
! m7 B! S( d" W6 M Coordinator! n$ { u% g$ j! m9 O' z: \! M
- Assist with any other program related tasks as assigned by the Senior Program Manager/ m6 ~/ A- e# z$ D# K- @8 \; Q

Qualifications:6 G9 h3 o; x, A0 s& w" u
- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood
5 @( s8 E8 U; p! X1 Z Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education( X: v! u8 w6 B2 z5 e
- Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children1 q4 t j. ^$ `, o
- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills$ @$ |6 h) F1 m5 d k3 ]
- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
* X2 S7 e2 k$ ?/ N, U- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese+ }3 Q* i ~6 f+ M( R! F' A& k
- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
4 j3 c! q0 X+ a/ z9 T' j- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision& @3 O! V( T1 P. ~5 q! @. x
- Returning student (should return to school after summer) r! S' z6 X7 F& W5 _3 P, _( x2 @
- Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

Other Information:* a2 g( _8 G! K( f- E+ ^* N
- Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning)
* c. [& e$ \- v" U3 t0 O and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)! N- g- H6 j: g0 x
- Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009# b3 x$ d% d, M% s: F8 _6 }1 w* c0 j

- $14.00 per hour
