Responsibilities:
. w  k& m2 \: N# a1 A4 y-        Support the Youth Program Coordinator in the preparation and
) x$ M, Y+ Q/ e! M4 ~! z: R6 g1 h0 h- X        implementation of the Summer Camps
-        Assist with facilitating the summer program
-        Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
4 b  _* Q4 c7 }5 a: \, B-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Youth Program Coordinator

% H9 y. K; A+ h  L1 {Qualifications:
-        Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood
4 D( ?( B1 ?& K3 ?6 Y! g" V) Q        Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
5 L4 Z# ~4 F" d-        Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
4 G6 X7 k& v7 |, Z7 g& E; {3 }4 b-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
* Y1 V5 O+ K; P# }-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-        Returning student (should return to school after summer)
, _! m% z% X4 n0 |4 a9 E-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

Other Information:
-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning)
- L3 Q5 _$ U7 Q        and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
-        Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009

Salary
