Job Description
1 m1 `6 ]1 K+ K& c- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to 0 W4 d3 z K N3 h
provide services for Chinese community
3 R' Z) n: J; z5 W) j8 h7 W) j- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population
3 n. G3 ~; F! @: X access to mainstream services4 t- K) D2 r" X6 b- K
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of
& J+ A9 U/ Q2 R3 x; O social services
( y O# f' y! ^5 C' ?9 K$ ]$ j- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
& G! _- e$ X1 J2 b- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members W9 `/ |5 a4 L8 F
- update ASSIST website; ^; R- v1 ]- J" Y* O! X E) h- V
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
5 B$ Q, v+ t6 J* N- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services
. K: v# n' \ b c$ v0 }; o+ T( K- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

Qualifications- E8 e y1 a0 N6 e Z1 b& l
- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of " w1 M# Y( F0 B0 h( o) d8 f' u( Z* F
experience and education
, _- Q3 s5 `$ _* O0 a$ p- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
# I+ Q) D6 A0 O y0 A- experience in community work and immigrant services, s5 A4 N8 A' f+ ^
- experience in website update/design
% _& ?5 V1 `9 P8 @/ l- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset9 u0 O' X+ U+ t+ m: q( c
