- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to
! ?6 U% O7 {5 T provide services for Chinese community- F% O7 @5 w6 n6 k8 {: h
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population
' @1 P6 Z# T9 s) N; J) f2 H+ L* H0 p access to mainstream services
4 \8 F3 i* l8 a3 B- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of ! a8 G3 v. I- x7 n$ s6 c
social services5 U( g( y- W6 ~" X
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
: `; m* g' ]* \& _6 ?- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members* s6 V$ n% \3 J3 E5 X$ [
- update ASSIST website
- K2 g. E$ V; H3 r4 r A6 {3 K- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre, K" ~7 S) A! v% d/ U# G
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services2 x* X# ?) B5 X6 \5 ?
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time C( ]0 w' ]7 I; A* ^
- update membership database

- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of + K9 E; S, N/ Z. `% ~2 k( c
experience and education 3 {" ]$ b3 J# U# q# G+ S: T
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
# [$ Q4 ], h: {5 _, \& T4 R1 H5 a- experience in community work and immigrant services
