Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator

- Organize focus group(s)
& K/ M5 Z& O+ O/ D  ?  n- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
0 ]2 [- Q* x1 K- Recruit children for summer program
6 J, i3 m7 ?- Q3 H' a; \- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
- L  P5 @6 m4 A  m% c( e- Prepare final report for funding agency

; u& z  \& K4 ]; q0 b- y, k" ?Qualifications:
7 X: P( P+ Q; H4 F: Q
% H7 T3 w2 @  b- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
$ x+ @# @: D7 O+ B% _+ D5 C- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
; w% s5 H) ]1 G# I, g8 r4 S- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
