Job Description
Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
  A) m7 n" q/ h/ t2 J- f9 D" g( I! nResponsibilities:
- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:
8 o6 P, I& H4 Y* O" L
$ d: q$ ^7 u! ?  F- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- }) R% n6 D1 R6 ~7 [* p- communication skills
2 U0 S7 W% ]4 b6 I+ `9 s* j- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
# `: X+ K; [7 x5 e  A- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
7 }& x* J7 I# i$ W+ J, G- good computer skills
) M2 [8 A$ g3 U/ t. l" x1 Z6 L- leadership abilities
% x; k, K, I1 S- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
