Housing Program Worker

' Y& d- T! i7 ^6 D6 N$ n/ J7 eKey Responsibilities:
- Z1 h$ f) T, ^  v: O; ] To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
1 o  j4 V9 \' C To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
+ }) z: _: @+ \, v! g To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
 To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
 To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
0 U# D# Y2 b9 N# Y To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

. `  N5 h- I4 n6 xQualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
% Q1 K( V' i$ r* t* `0 C 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
' d8 c$ d2 a. U9 P8 f Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
! o, C& E: W+ `1 @( A  ?' ]8 s Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
" z& {. U$ d( F: ^8 t% Q Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
