The remains of a man reported missing in early March were found in a wooded area near a golf course in the city's northwest yesterday afternoon.5 t7 r+ }' a$ v6 P, r

Police said the remains, discovered near 137 Avenue and 170 Street, have been identified as 54-year-old Robert Stauffer. His death is not considered suspicious.

Stauffer had not been seen or heard from since Jan. 24 after he attended a medical appointment. As this was not the first time he lost contact with his family, they did not report him missing until March 6.$ q& E7 a# J3 f9 N( R' {7 U7 D
