The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.$ _+ t2 L* }, o; N/ F9 D" M2 S
' L( a5 k6 ^/ ]* x9 v) g: P6 l) S5 oThis position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.

• Human Resources Management
6 H4 n0 l+ g& R" c% y: }$ r/ D• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities
% n5 d8 q/ {4 ~1 Y2 U6 ?0 \! b, E• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors
4 c0 q, \: ~. z6 s8 D) L• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities
& k7 s; q( X8 C/ c• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services
! s3 k/ |5 ~$ C6 j9 ]5 R) u• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities/ G$ V* x i1 D0 q* k2 w
! R' T0 f/ y }/ D: y7 M8 W; y! _Program Delivery) a9 I7 j4 l7 x6 M
• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program 6 n7 ^* O+ M R2 r
• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes
% g( }7 g7 O4 F1 G/ p5 M0 {• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required
T- {& E# s" S% z, i6 }. u• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication' {6 n6 a+ ^) p+ ?( m
• Review service action plans and support programs as requested
; L( b1 N9 n% Y6 B3 x• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department2 s6 d/ K+ q2 R- M! \
• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program$ o" \; z9 n& L" Z% x9 c/ E0 t5 a
• Implement service modification, as required- ~/ z& E! M, R5 t' x

Administration
4 M( C7 c; F" }: Z. R) p2 }• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director
1 S: W/ m. Z+ V. r( x9 \( w g- i• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review
* w% i' ^$ l; D' n x• Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required

, p; k, t$ T) @• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field1 Q$ p- p! M& O% |
• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities+ S6 n' ]9 D' Y& H
• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience! I5 d5 k) e7 e2 ~$ m( M9 Y
• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations* I% X2 ~# \ [: R/ C1 U
• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population D2 ^7 e) r9 d3 `/ T# j
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office
