The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.9 G$ C5 J* a$ h3 Z9 E) M

This position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities./ ^. i" i7 P6 c+ g- s9 F

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

. ~% i5 e+ c' `9 O& y5 `4 A6 F {. x9 `1 z• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities
& ^( E7 q# F/ y$ I( J* l• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors 2 e+ ?- P1 {/ M2 N I% q0 @
• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities- b$ D# f! ]$ n
• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services1 k% f# ` l% h4 D8 C+ ^
• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities$ i; s% \/ i1 B$ N

Program Delivery
7 N* V: e+ P% j8 K3 y4 ^% M• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program " r- q1 T- [$ T
• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes/ K8 a! c o7 h* n7 H9 R. N
• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required1 K2 H9 M0 J5 t; T# o8 G
• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication
1 o& t3 t. s* j/ {% ^2 d• Review service action plans and support programs as requested
+ s# e4 _3 G0 y# ]" I' o• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department, N: M6 w, l8 G1 q: G5 Q; Q- Z
• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program

• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director; @# g. K# E# g6 U: E2 S
• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review' d" s" E! R2 b; g( A. z
• Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required

2 A' ~6 i( L3 t: [0 oQualifications:
" p9 r& e# s- w5 l x8 @5 F4 X1 c7 _( Y- q3 h7 g* J
• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field
4 R) b# g0 e0 C9 n; k& \• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities7 V7 L( r! P- P' `
• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience7 ^: V P3 N! J/ k6 J% U3 h
• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations+ ]) @% r/ J: z/ o
• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population
' G9 i+ ]' F9 B* K2 G• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office6 w" ~: \, S' |* W
