The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.

2 _3 B$ p) P6 _$ s( i! V/ a0 rThis position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.

• Human Resources Management' I/ T7 k; r# c6 Q" c& O6 N; f3 e
• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities
. {6 f. U) @- D5 Q4 z• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors
, d. H$ k+ j4 K• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities
( f# `& p! ?# u/ N9 e0 z• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services
4 c3 k: w8 G7 G" ?# I. ]• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program 7 m8 k1 B! o( ?4 u
• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes
. @: T l8 r$ o. H0 N; M• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required' }) \+ D# m: w! M
• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication; r0 D+ {+ f/ h- a7 e2 b
• Review service action plans and support programs as requested$ S) n0 B4 W2 ], `9 {2 R
• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department# |( @/ `; F( F# O
• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program* Y; C1 y4 i! H. d8 `- H! ?) i
• Implement service modification, as required1 I$ ~0 E& ?2 u0 f8 f' o

• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director
" ]8 s8 i7 ~) T5 v1 _• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review2 x2 |5 z% n2 I5 D* J1 \1 P5 k
• Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required

Qualifications:
4 M9 p. }$ Q" ^8 K1 c" C4 o" V
, ]4 l! M+ A J3 A8 Z• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field$ N; b$ j R& m3 v
• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities& o6 {- V$ F8 Q5 A' N0 ^9 R' V
• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience1 H2 @( y( L2 J/ X( T+ s) i& _
• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations+ Q4 W8 F+ w1 k+ ~6 |
• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population
