The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.. k" J) P, y0 D# X9 r# m. o
4 X& o. n; Y+ b- G7 x& }! a. G7 \This position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.

• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities 2 v1 K* \! e' h( z; r. M
• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors . A; U& f+ P- W- h% F
• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities+ Q' D) f! P2 j
• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services
* w, I' G3 u% d# r• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

' L9 j0 I, V( c) u• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program * _ w# K" D( _7 j
• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes$ V% e7 d* ?4 @/ q6 j0 t1 M+ G
• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required" C! K) Z0 D; N# v+ }
• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication

8 U! Z4 o9 c. h- E• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department1 P! u) ?% y2 l6 L$ j
• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program

• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director+ G1 Y8 A9 h; K+ u) K5 M- }9 a
• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review* W( S, R+ U( }$ \( G# ^8 @
• Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required

Qualifications:
4 S0 ~/ R( m; M9 p7 x
N# X& v/ q7 w; W. f' g• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field
/ z0 q. s, ^! h' N9 ^• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities
/ h& T. A6 b( `# K* n• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience
* W% f8 `. }, c* a7 v7 O% ]. [/ x% a• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations
, l/ A( v( n* n) f% g6 V# x• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population
