Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:
4 \: B7 r2 Q& I7 R. Z- u- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
2 d* U4 F9 g: d' \- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
; Y7 A! F* C9 K& r" M' u- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:
% \( O( e2 b6 l/ u/ _
* H8 G$ S+ o& z8 U2 B  ^3 k% D4 W- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
5 V; }. l$ Y- ]- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
4 v( t, e1 S" C/ F! T' T- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
8 f  I5 _4 ^6 q: N0 c- good computer skills
4 d3 n& D6 w( W- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

; ]8 L* B, P5 f- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
