Housing Program Worker

) F5 p4 v* ?8 v+ g# j5 \  t/ eKey Responsibilities:
 To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
( T* b% o! h% X9 ^/ Q To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
/ R, K! d# M" ]' J( i& H$ Q& \ To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
* V+ D, ?  X6 R) D2 E2 ] To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
 To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
! W0 N, J6 j# H To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
3 c- j4 C: i3 [5 J2 [: w  K Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
 Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
