Housing Program Worker

Key Responsibilities:
  Y  Y, S+ B$ {# `: i" W To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
+ A) g$ `# T6 h$ _: s6 Q) Q% ]0 ] To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
 To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
& A. U3 |& g2 I* P( \% H+ C To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
+ C9 |! J) k& i& s  ^ To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
) Z& n3 k/ @  t To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
0 \; ?  @  J  c Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
0 A" s: d4 x# z/ I; \6 O; Q$ L Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
