動人心弦的小男孩 (Little Boy Touches Hearts)

I was walking around in a Target store, when I saw a Cashier hand this little boy some money back.
8 P$ r# I  i" G) Q0 M我在「塔杰」商店閒逛時,看到收銀員將一些錢退還給小男孩。9 u% Z; Q1 Z1 i8 ^

# b) Q: z4 V- F/ o6 J" V* cThe boy couldn ' t have been more than 5 or 6 years old.
0 m" x# L8 X' Z  R4 I * O; o: L9 m0 V+ R% l9 L7 y) Q! U
這男孩不過5、6歲。

/ O' W: b3 W0 J( ~" ?: j) \0 hThe Cashier said, ' I ' m sorry, but you don ' t have enough money to buy this doll. '6 c! X/ o* H' n4 k2 C

are you sure I don ' t have enough money? ' '

Then she asked him to stay there for just 5 minutes while she went to look around. She left quickly.

: }3 Z* u4 O+ S% KThe little boy said: ' Thank you God for giving me enough money! '

  Q; b7 Q) l' w8 B) ]( t1 i, W
Then he looked at me and added, ' I asked last night before I went to sleep for God to make sure I had enough money to buy this doll, so that mommy could give it to my sister. He heard me! ' '

A few minutes later, the old lady returned and I left with my basket.

I couldn ' t get the little boy out of my mind.

) A* S5 |, {3 O( u  YThen I remembered a local news paper article two days ago, which mentioned a drunk man in a truck, who hit a car occupied by a young* o& x9 m2 B' L5 m3 z8 V1 F, T1 N
woman and a little girl.
0 z8 Y! P' U; a, t5 [) u我想起兩天前當地報紙的一篇文章,提及一位醉酒卡車司機,撞上了一輛載著年輕少婦和一個小女孩的汽車。
; y) h2 |5 S- U5 N+ F! i7 u" x/ |
) p0 i3 C1 p- S) p& h7 _0 {The little girl died right away, and the mother was left in a critical* I( ~* N# k" V0 B
state. The family had to decide whether to pull the plug on the
1 y" |5 w5 N4 q4 }& y5 S) Tlife-sustaining machine, because the young woman would not be able to recover from the coma.

Two days after this encounter with the little boy, I read in the news paper that the young woman had passed away./ @/ c  N# g* U  N7 o. H: [$ d: I8 i5 \

我不自主的買了一束白玫瑰,來到喪家,年輕少婦的遺體在她埋葬前讓人瞻仰與最後許願。0 f- I; L5 R0 b

$ g( d% l+ p4 k& ?3 z9 |She was there, in her coffin, holding a beautiful white rose in her hand with the photo of the little boy and the doll placed over her chest.

I left the place, teary-eyed, feeling that my life had been changed for ever.. The love that the little boy had for his mother and his sister is
