動人心弦的小男孩 (Little Boy Touches Hearts)

I was walking around in a Target store, when I saw a Cashier hand this little boy some money back.

: t! K; m% W  F& P9 H0 V5 }' x; EThe boy couldn ' t have been more than 5 or 6 years old.

這男孩不過5、6歲。

, A' H! @* d' p. _' m/ S2 T$ cThe Cashier said, ' I ' m sorry, but you don ' t have enough money to buy this doll. '

Then the little boy turned to the old woman next to him: ' ' Granny,, Q/ o  Q: ~: j
are you sure I don ' t have enough money? ' '- a8 ]7 U7 s1 o5 A0 i

The old lady replied: ' ' You know that you don ' t have enough money to buy this doll, my dear. ' '% p6 Z0 H( o1 d- W: Y5 R+ n; J2 d

Then she asked him to stay there for just 5 minutes while she went to look around. She left quickly., Y9 Q# V. i: _: z

Then he showed me a very nice photo of himself. He was laughing. He then told me ' I want mommy to take my picture with her so she won ' t forget me. '

The little boy said: ' Thank you God for giving me enough money! '

! K. E( e( h+ _7 A5 x: {Then he looked at me and added, ' I asked last night before I went to sleep for God to make sure I had enough money to buy this doll, so that mommy could give it to my sister. He heard me! ' '1 N) g) `, b3 `9 P- Z& m! G& _

A few minutes later, the old lady returned and I left with my basket.( l  v0 R% g7 t( ~0 v

Then I remembered a local news paper article two days ago, which mentioned a drunk man in a truck, who hit a car occupied by a young( q% Z3 M" z  F1 S7 n
woman and a little girl.
9 p) t2 i7 n1 E5 |/ g1 [: }; m我想起兩天前當地報紙的一篇文章,提及一位醉酒卡車司機,撞上了一輛載著年輕少婦和一個小女孩的汽車。( v; Y, C  B2 ~6 N3 J

The little girl died right away, and the mother was left in a critical
( P/ t& G' B( k2 M/ x# ^state. The family had to decide whether to pull the plug on the
6 [0 o7 G! o* S- V/ h3 ?life-sustaining machine, because the young woman would not be able to recover from the coma.
( k4 p5 o# _8 }  K7 D: r小女孩當場死亡,母親呈現彌留狀態。 這個家庭必須決定是否要拔出維持生命機器的插管

I couldn ' t stop myself as I bought a bunch of white roses and I went to the funeral home where the body of the young woman was for people to see and make last wishes before her burial.5 k+ v& Z8 J# m$ p) q; W
我不自主的買了一束白玫瑰,來到喪家,年輕少婦的遺體在她埋葬前讓人瞻仰與最後許願。

She was there, in her coffin, holding a beautiful white rose in her hand with the photo of the little boy and the doll placed over her chest.* D% F, {6 I1 d; b2 i% R- o

. p! P' c) \& h' I3 |I left the place, teary-eyed, feeling that my life had been changed for ever.. The love that the little boy had for his mother and his sister is
