6 l+ a  O. S- B3 `! q2 P8 zBig Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton and Area provides mentoring programs to more than 2,800 children, youth and families.  We are looking for 4 temporary full time summer staff.

! W% Y( \% y% p6 O4 Multicultural Summer Camp Program Staff
(8 week contract @ 35 hours a week)

Key Responsibilities Include:
- t) j" F* g! Q- A/ M9 HActivity Planning and Daily Activity
4 y$ J) t& F  F" Q5 A5 Z' c. R9 u•        Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their  resilience, relationship building and leadership.
( [+ a# @3 m9 I5 I# I•        Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring.
•        Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer  and volleyball,
•        Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.
•        Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
5 f3 N3 x1 n0 L! g# ]2 \4 A* _' x2 W•        Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.

•        The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
- _5 M( |+ ?) Y( \2 W2 i7 r& s•        Experience with children
•        Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
' s+ @  u3 P" A  z; d8 y9 c% v' [% r•        Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.
2 [) ~+ C* H' }! \* V6 {) r•        Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.
•        Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources
•        Documentation of a clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check  
•        Documentation of a  clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check

In addition to an excellent work environment, The Africa Centre & Big Brothers Big Sisters offer an hourly salary of $15-hour .
