% v* Y5 U3 I4 ~The YWCA is recruiting a Receptionist. The Front Desk is the central point for internal and external communications for all departments, programs and events. A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.

• Greet and provide assistance to incoming visitors
. \. V a9 n, U7 `; R! d, x1 n• Answer multi line telephone system' H) }# M7 V" N: z
• Receive and distribute mail and deliveries

• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers8 q5 U$ ?) c8 a& ?

Administration
/ ]0 w9 R( d! I8 a• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail r+ B( k$ Q2 G3 H
• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries
4 g0 _& z2 t/ f! j0 ~5 X2 R8 |• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency

• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers

• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments

• Accept and process registrations for participants or attendees at various special events and staff training

• Assist YoWoChAs Outdoor Education Registration as required

• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures* P1 g' F+ Y( T! V" B1 e' O- ~* d8 ~
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.9 x! {0 ~ h- k: n
• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset. U7 W; m2 s' z" E5 I0 r" ]0 z! v
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
