The YWCA is recruiting a Receptionist. The Front Desk is the central point for internal and external communications for all departments, programs and events. A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.

0 q& p: S- {) S8 B/ A• Greet and provide assistance to incoming visitors
M- ?1 _" J1 f( y• Answer multi line telephone system
: N( H' L3 f; w5 _• Receive and distribute mail and deliveries2 h+ H* g. Y# D4 i& H, M3 [1 J
• Arrange courier services for all departments
, s- L' O) F6 i: g( F* s. X• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers4 w/ ?: C+ p, _* W

• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail
7 h. d. U4 V. a' E! x* j• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries
: Q+ ^# s2 D5 K3 l6 `! O• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency ; b3 d( U7 u1 R5 T( Z
• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration- T7 u4 ^0 p+ y9 N" z4 C
• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers " t+ G9 o2 b; D' m' y1 _% N
• Create monthly staff bulletin and prepare for distribution& p, {& ~9 M5 z3 `! s
• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments - T# ~' h6 b8 r' A' T' N9 O6 y
• Assemble and forward information packets as requested

& I. P+ a- r& v3 P• Accept and process registrations for participants or attendees at various special events and staff training

• Assist YoWoChAs Outdoor Education Registration as required% |) k J% h+ j

Qualifications: h! M v, n" S, {
+ Q* g4 p: ^9 Z2 N8 j2 _
• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures# l# y8 ]9 `! H8 t# A
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
! t/ O* ~2 s+ \" I+ T- I% E/ ^' F" B, n• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset
: l7 i3 J: a' ?5 @• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
& Z E% t! B! O# O1 D• Mindful of need for accuracy, detail and discretion
