A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.

• Receive and distribute mail and deliveries+ o! R, i# m% l3 T
• Arrange courier services for all departments
! H$ E. J! r6 W& @1 G• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers

• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail

• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency 6 X- Q; C- e/ y) M3 Q
• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration6 L, m; Z$ l+ U# g/ q2 E% r) R6 O
• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers ; K) ` {& G% p) k/ Y: p8 {1 v( o' E
• Create monthly staff bulletin and prepare for distribution

• Assemble and forward information packets as requested

• Assist YoWoChAs Outdoor Education Registration as required+ N/ H# G' h a8 ~1 |1 t

Qualifications:$ z5 \( n, q8 |, J, ?. T% E

• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures
1 s) q: s. p4 N• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
; ]. \6 X: p3 R3 w+ N9 r* G0 M• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset- F/ O" N+ B& Y1 b
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills 6 m' k5 s" b4 m( T
• Mindful of need for accuracy, detail and discretion' E; q: _5 S$ [( ^( p3 g1 t4 k
• Able to interact in a positive manner with diverse population5 ~% [* E( b% {" O4 {) O& b4 m
• Strong customer-service skills
