A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.

• Receive and distribute mail and deliveries5 d; u( M) l; z
• Arrange courier services for all departments/ \/ t1 d2 m1 E: z+ B }8 e4 u
• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers$ y- m# x6 B/ M8 F! R. C

• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail
) }$ l# T+ n% x, n3 I• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries
3 d( v" o% L' U( Z W; G• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency 9 O. _: k0 B, E) E6 Z
• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration; p" n3 q; w( X+ `9 V" e: v
• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers
0 D1 v8 t1 D2 O& l+ a7 T• Create monthly staff bulletin and prepare for distribution/ ~2 ?8 ~: N. Y. n" a
• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments

• Accept and process registrations for participants or attendees at various special events and staff training

Qualifications:

9 m# [# k1 _$ k" @0 F l• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures
& A& M0 P' d o7 U* J V• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint." H7 m# }" K7 e* a% j/ h1 J' i; q
• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset
# B* Z# ]9 a/ b- b: M. l6 e+ s• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
