The YWCA is recruiting a Receptionist. The Front Desk is the central point for internal and external communications for all departments, programs and events. A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.7 Q, `" I0 K- O

• Answer multi line telephone system

• Arrange courier services for all departments
# q) ^* `7 G+ Q/ z* c9 l8 G3 D• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers

• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail* ~$ Z" t9 ^& E
• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries
! Z- G5 @2 o; K" U/ \2 H• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency * s! j! Q7 A2 z/ q4 ~ w2 c8 x
• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration! D* W8 o: s Z( j# A7 u' `2 N1 Z
• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers
* k2 T3 c3 A. e% M7 y• Create monthly staff bulletin and prepare for distribution
% ?2 P4 M8 W$ ^. ]' r& f• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments

Registrar

• Assist YoWoChAs Outdoor Education Registration as required0 | m q& A2 i( v, j1 f0 `) p

Qualifications:
/ P& c: z6 v( h' s! y$ H8 a) q. M/ t& l& f$ a9 {
• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures
7 C" z. Q/ e! Z! M0 h• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
8 a4 _! U2 x& a/ A2 L. A• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset
9 S& S' y3 q8 g' ~; t! e• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
