· Select and develop themes in collaboration with the Committee , ~# t, \- H" N1 |, K
· Oversee event logistics: book entertainment, catering services and venue; assist
; f1 f* X y$ d/ `" Fwith decorating; ensure tickets and invitations are available; assist with the
6 l% } v; E6 [2 n5 \advertising of events; recruit, place and supervise volunteers for events; ensure : O( V, [9 g/ h. I$ P. x/ g3 t
set-up and clean-up; monitor event budget and complete evaluation of events.

· Attend and take minutes for Special Events Committee

Duties: Volunteer Coordination
5 ~. A- P2 x/ i- O1 p2 R4 S. [Assist in developing and implementing a volunteer program:
4 b. u. n7 f$ S! o: { R· Develop job descriptions for volunteer positions
- k' w6 Y; m. c X& s· Recruit, interview, screen and place prospective volunteers
# p) \. b' |4 a* g% _* I· Provide initial orientation and training for new volunteers
' |0 e ^3 P4 T6 w· Ensure provision of recognition and evaluation of volunteers

Qualifications: 0 d; g& W% S) y" d
· Completion of 12th
7 E+ H* j6 m* z6 ~/ { Grade and a minimum of a Diploma in Recreation
, N% e- \! h* \7 z$ z0 ?# d& T# P, UAdministration, Volunteer Management or Special Event Planning or equivalent. 7 A/ `6 }( y% C) M3 H7 \' s# m
· At least one year of experience in Recreation Administration and some direct
+ B; O! v/ v* P9 w/ y* r1 Qexperience in conducting recreational, cultural or other related events ! z6 _) I) _9 O$ o1 w! T) D
· Experience working with and managing volunteers
