Point Pelee National Park is southeast of Windsor about an hour, near Wheatley, Kingsville and Leamington Ont.- s* e- g2 t, T2 B |3 |
It is the Southernmost land point of Canada , and other than group camping, is a day use park only.

The National Butterfly count takes place August 8th, and you can pre-register your family to take part, lots of fun for the kiddies (Too Late).
+ u2 K" f! [; H8 U& r! ^% hGreat hiking, guides, canoe tours and rentals, bike rentals and the butterfly migration is something to see.+ n6 a( W1 N; {8 x3 ` M" k" ^5 h
The ferry to Pelee Island only runs from Kingsville this year, not from Leamington in case your interested in going on the winery tours and hikes there.
