Point Pelee National Park is southeast of Windsor about an hour, near Wheatley, Kingsville and Leamington Ont.$ o9 T9 ?8 |8 h' E* z+ C/ S4 x
It is the Southernmost land point of Canada , and other than group camping, is a day use park only.2 M2 v* u5 i! }, F/ z: q

The National Butterfly count takes place August 8th, and you can pre-register your family to take part, lots of fun for the kiddies (Too Late).7 T0 N: f: u1 v; c q* U. u
Great hiking, guides, canoe tours and rentals, bike rentals and the butterfly migration is something to see./ f8 |9 u2 U' G8 P& L
The ferry to Pelee Island only runs from Kingsville this year, not from Leamington in case your interested in going on the winery tours and hikes there.% c7 w7 A% @+ h" z8 d! ]; F& v! L
